Trickster Coyote
Our Inspiration
Trickster Coyote- refers to an intelligent mythical figure in Native American folklore, labeled as a trickster by ancient Navajo. Tempted to challenge authority and test boundaries, Coyote embodies wit and adaptability while playing a central role in stories that offer humor, wisdom, and moral ambiguity, reflecting the complexities of human nature and traditional beliefs.
A note from the artist…
“Coyote is ever present in my Trickster life. Be it through Dreams, Messengers or Story Telling.
I have come to value the importance of Messengers that have entered my life,
be it brief encounters or life long friendships. The signs are all around us on a daily basis.
I encourage you as the viewer to take a few still moments to experience each of
my paintings or drawings. Do they relate to a part of your own emotional,
physical or spiritual journey?”
